Mike Buck, CFA®

Quantitative Analyst
Portfolio Management Team

Mike Buck, CFA® joined JAG Capital Management (JAG) in 2008 and serves as the Quantitative Analyst for JAG’s managed equity strategies. He has over 30 years of investment experience, and his areas of expertise include portfolio optimization, quantitative equity analysis, performance attribution, and VBA programming.

Prior to joining JAG, Mike spent 14 years as an Analyst/VBA developer with Barrington Capital Management in Chicago. He has a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) since 1991.

Mike and his wife Janice are the proud parents of grown triplets. As a parent of a special needs daughter, Mike has a personal interest in residential design for wheelchair users and worked for a time with a Chicago area company remodeling homes to accommodate the needs of those with mobility challenges. In addition, Mike has helped support DuPage Easter Seals for over 20 years. Mike enjoys woodworking, bike riding, and experimenting with new dinner recipes.
